Dr. Michael Weir
Dr. Michael Weir is a second generation doctor of chiropractic following in the foot steps of his father and two uncles. He is board eligible for his diplomat in chiropractic neurology with over 300 hours of post doctorate training, which gives him a unique understanding of how the master computer, our brain affects our health. Dr. Weir is in daily private practice and has extensive, specialized training in examinations and treatment procedures emphasizing primarily the neuromusculoskeletal structures of the body and how they relate to the nervous system. Being in daily private practice gives him a powerful edge as he is daily interacting with him patients to understand what your greatest health issues are.
Early in practice, Dr. Weir found that to best help his patients he needed to not only focus on the spine and nervous system, but all areas of health and wellness. It was then that he struck out to
Dr. Weir uses a “whole person approach” when taking care of his patients. "It is important to look at the body as a whole, not just a bunch of parts working together." This is why his approach to health focus's on three different areas: Eat Great, Move Great, Think Great, and Rest Great. "If you miss any one of those four areas of health, its like pulling out one of the legs off a table. The table won't stand very long, and your health won't either if you neglect any one of the 4 areas."
Dr. Weir was educated at Life Chiropractic College West where he received his doctorate in Chiropractic. He also believes that education, especially in the ever expanding understanding of health and wellness, should never stop. He is constantly learning through continuing education, and staying current on research of what it means for himself, his family, his patients, and his students to stay healthy in this crazy, busy world.
